Dairy Incentive Pay publication available online

The fourth edition of Dairy Incentive Pay is now available free online as a downloadable PDF file. “Even if dairy farmers have little interest in tying worker performance to pay, this publication will be of great interest in helping define and measure important goals for the dairy,” says Gregorio Billikopf, of the University of California.
Six University of California dairy scientists provided chapters on such topics as increasing herd pregnancy rates, raising calves, milk quality, feeding management, hoof care, and herd health. In addition, there are two chapters on the principles of establishing incentives and getting more out of labor dollars. To download the book or individual chapters, go to: http://tinyurl.com/73p5w
