WUD hosts labor workshops May 25 in Riverdale, Tulare

As the California Department of Labor conducts on-farm audits of dairies throughout the state, will you be ready when they show up at your dairy? Learn more about payroll and recordkeeping - - including such items as overtime, meal and rest periods ? at two labor workshops hosted by WUD on Wednesday, May 25, in Riverdale and Tulare.
The Tulare session will be held at the Heritage Ag Complex at 9:30 a.m. The Riverdale workshop, set for 1:30 p.m., will be at the Riverdale Memorial District Hall, 3085 West Mt. Whitney Avenue. For more information, contact WUD field representative John Labandeira at (559) 285-9126.
WUD has hosted a series of labor workshops over the past several weeks in an effort to raise awareness of various labor issues and keep members informed of changing requirements. WUD members who have questions about on-farm labor audits are urged to contact their local WUD field representative.
