House Dairy Subcommittee hearing set for Fresno Sept. 16

The House Dairy Subcommittee has scheduled a hearing for Saturday, September 16, at California State University, Fresno. The hearing is expected to include a dairy economist, along with one panel of four dairy producers and one panel of four dairy processors. The subcommittee is chaired by Minnesota Republican Gil Gutknecht. Rep. Richard Pombo (R-Tracy) is the next ranking Republican. California Democrats Jim Costa (Fresno) and Dennis Cardoza (Merced) also sit on the subcommittee.
